Wallace & Ladmo Title: Cassandra’s Crush Description: Cassandra has a crush on none other than… Date: 1982 Comments: Trying to come up with material for the show daily was pretty tough. Finding a premise that lent itself to multiple bits meant not having to reinvent the wheel every time blank paper stared me in the face. I got a lot of mileage out of Cassandra’s little infatuation with Gerald, but even I didn’t remember how the whole thing started until I rediscovered this clip. Even Craig Dingle referenced Cassandra’s crush in one of the Wallace & Ladmo comic strips he drew for the Bear Essential News. The strip below depicts an adoring Cassandra as part of the crowd watching Gerald getting loaded into an ambulance (Dingle, Orson and I are also there).
