One day I told Wallace that my favorite character when I was a kid was Mr. Grudgmeyer.  I just loved (and still do!) his irritating nasal voice, his pompous demeanor and that syrupy violin music that always underscored his tit-for-tat encounters with Ladmo.  Wallace told me he hadn’t played Grudgmeyer in about ten years because the costume didn’t fit anymore.  I pestered him until he finally agreed to resurrect the bug-eyed curmudgeon again.  This reunion of Lad & Grudg is a real gem; no one makes eating bonbons funnier than Wallace does.  I can hear myself off camera in this clip—laughing in exactly the same places as when I watch it now.
