FACT SHEET Title: Pups, Puppets & Pottery. Date: 1980 Description: A sample of “business as usual” on the show. Comments: This is a fairly early appearance for me on the show, doing my best to raise awareness for seat belts—with a little bike safety thrown in. The puppet I’m using is “Harry” who was a character in my school show and was later used in a series of health oriented videos produced for hospitals and schools. Melinda is here from the Humane Society with a puppy, and Lee Theisen from the Central AZ Museum with some vintage crockery. If you watch closely, you can catch a glimpse of Wall coaxing me to use the puppet to break Lee’s concentration. However, it’s to no avail; Lee presses on resolutely. Dan Horn |
