Here’s another one-off bit with my puppet, Harry.  This was always one of my favorite bits for two reasons: all the trouble the scarves we’re wearing gave me, and because two lines that I consider among my best are here—the joke about keeping a box of baking soda in the igloo, and the “Hog & Dogs Ice Cream” pun.  I’ve been told over and over that puns are the lowest form of humor, and I agree when it comes to most garden variety puns, but the day I wrote this one, I remember being so tickled with myself, thinking I’d written a really clever line, that there was no way this pun wasn’t going to get a big laugh.  Well, as the clip shows, I was wrong.  However, I still love the line.  Forgive me?
