Title: The Halloween Song

Here’s a Halloween song I wrote for the Wallace & Ladmo show in October 1986.  What really “makes” this bit, I think, is the contribution of Craig Dingle—all the “spooky” off-camera sound effects are Craig’s uninhibited performance.  I drew the background artwork for this bit, which I think looks a little like Tim Burton’s style—except this was years before I ever knew his name or work. 

I loved writing pseudo Classical/Broadway songs for the show, and as Cathy Dresbach was always a willing participant, I ended up writing several for her character, Jodi, and Cassandra to sing together.  I think this one in particular came off pretty well. 

It’s my offering this month to set the mood for a Happy Halloween!
